John has served as the pastor of Grace Baptist Church since May 1999. He is married to Melanie Collins and they are the parents of Daniel and Mary Ellen. John received undergraduate degrees from Anderson College and Carson-Newman College and his graduate degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports especially the South Carolina Gamecocks, playing golf, and tending to yard work and a garden.

Matt has served as Grace's Worship Leader since June 2020. A Florence native, Matt is married to Ruth Sims. He received his bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Church Music from Charleston Southern University. Matt's desire is to help people reach the fullest potential of the artistic talents God has given them and to help them use those talents to experience true worship.   

Laura has served as the Ministry Assistant since August 2018. A native of Houston, Texas, she has lived in Darlington, South Carolina since 1992 which is now "home." She enjoys going the beach and spending time with family.
