Pastor's Weekly Email

February 26, 2020

Let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. (Hebrews 6:1)

Grace Church Family,

Here are few reminders about opportunities for you this weekend at Grace. Also Sunday’s bulletin is attached below.

  • TONIGHT (February 26) is FUN FRIDAY NIGHT for the GBC Student Ministry. The youth will be gathering for an "open gym night" from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the Community Life Center. Students are encouraged to come and enjoy some informal time of fun and fellowship.

  • Engaging Generation Z: Student Ministry Training. A Free Training For Volunteers and Parents - Dr. Tim McKnight of Anderson University will be leading this training on Saturday, February 27 at Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church. There will be two sessions: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm & 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This training is being provided by the Florence Baptist Association and Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church. Let me encourage all our parents to participate in this opportunity and training.

  • PATHWAY TO SPIRITUAL MATURITY SERMON SERIES - This Sunday, we will explore the second stage of spiritual maturity. I am looking forward to sharing worship with you as we continue to follow the spiritual journey of Donnie & Debbie Delmae. Last Sunday they passed from death to life...this Sunday we will engage with them as they begin to grow in their relationship with Jesus by "drinking milk"  I hope to see you and worship with you on Sunday,
