And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

Hello GBC Family,

I pray you and your family are doing well. Please find Sunday’s bulletin attached below for your review. Allow me to highlight a couple of items and encourage you to engage so as to be the "salt" and "light" of Jesus.

  1. Baby Bottle Campaign for A Choice to Make - A Choice To Make is an independent pregnancy resource center in Florence that provides a safe haven for women and men who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We have a handful of baby bottles remaining for the GBC family to pick and begin collecting change. By filling a bottle with change, bills, or checks, YOU will support the life-changing work of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of facing an unplanned pregnancy. Your support reaches hundreds of people through education programs, abortion recovery counseling, pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and supplies mothers and children with the support they need. Everyone is asked to return their baby bottles on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20th. Bottles are available in the Community Life Center or church office.

  2. Needs for Students in FSD1 - Florence School District One High Schools have requested help from the churches of the Florence Baptist Association. There are young men who are in need of  white dress shirts, neckties, and belts for graduation. Men, if you have any of these items, they can be gently used, please bring them to the church by Monday, May 31st. In addition, they have asked for men’s and ladies deodorant.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday, as we begin the day in worship. I will be preaching from John 21:1-14; the occasion of the resurrected Jesus appearing to group of his disciples on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.

Your Pastor and Friend,

P.S. The family’s of Haden Bailey, Zack Bailey, Daniel Crawford, and Laura Norris invite the Grace Church family to a Drop-In Graduation Party in honor of their high school graduation on Saturday, May 15, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the GBC Community Life Center.
