For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Dear Grace Church Family,

I trust you are holding up well. Even though we all are praying for this COVID-19 craziness to be over, we must continue to press on in all we do for the glory of God. So be encouraged and don’t lose heart, God is at work, and he has a plan for our lives.

Let me share just a couple of items with you ...

  • This Sunday will be gather for DRIVE-IN WORSHIP at 9:30 am as we have the past two weeks. As you drive onto the property, volunteers will assist you to park. After parking please remain in your vehicle and tune your radio dial to 88.3 FM. Worship will be broadcast via a FM transmitter. As you exit the parking lot following worship, our Safety Team will have baskets available to receive your tithes and offerings.
  • Next Sunday, June 7, we will gather at 9:30 am, following social distancing practices, for WORSHIP IN THE COMMUNITY LIFE CENTER. You will be able to sit with those in your household as chairs will be spaced throughout the CLC so as to provide adequate distancing. Parents please be aware that we will not provide childcare or other age-related activities. This second step will only be for those who are comfortable meeting in person, with or without a mask. For those who are in the vulnerable health categories, Drive-In Worship will also be provided; worship from inside the CLC will be broadcast via the FM transmitter in the parking lot. In addition, we invite you to worship online if you are having symptoms (i.e. fever, cough, sore throat, etc.) or if you have had contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
  • Please be reminded that the online and virtual opportunities will remain available to worship and connect with the GBC family throughout this re-gathering process. For all the online and virtual opportunities please visit the church website

This Sunday will be our Graduate Recognition Sunday during our Drive-In Worship. Let me encourage you to share in this special time of celebration for our graduates. A list of the graduates is provided in Sunday’s bulletin which is attached.

The Sunday School material for the new quarter beginning in June is now available in the church. You are invited to stop by during the week to pick it up or call the church office if you need assistance and we will have it delivered to you.

I want to take an opportunity to express appreciation to Teri Brehio for her faithfulness as she has served voluntarily as our Choir and Music Director for many years. Teri has given of her time selflessly in so many ways in the life of Grace, but she has led our choir, as well as our children, out of her love of the Lord and love of music so well. On behalf of the church I want to let her know how much we truly love her and appreciate her. Teri, thank you for giving of yourself to the Lord and to his people as you have been a servant leader through music and worship. Let me encourage the Grace Church family to take the opportunity to express your appreciation to Teri as well.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday,

Pastor John
