May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. (Philippians 4:23)

Dear GBC Family,

Sunday’s bulletin attached below for your review about what God is doing through GBC. As I shared last week, let me highlight a couple of opportunities where your help is needed.

CHRISTMAS DEVOTIONAL BOOK - A unique Christmas devotional book is being planned to celebrate Christmas. The book will be unique because it is to be written by the Grace Church family. Your help is needed by writing a one-page devotion of 100 words or less. Each devotion needs to include your original and personal thoughts as well as a biblical reference. Please submit your devotion by November 8 so that the book can be compiled and edited in time for Christmas. As you have questions, please talk with Pastor John. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • What God has taught me during 2020…
  • My Favorite Christmas memory is…
  • To me, Christmas means…
  • Through COVID-19, God taught me...
  • Christmas is different for me since Jesus came into my life because…
  • Choose your own idea about Christmas

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - Everyone is encouraged to pack a shoebox to share with boys and girls around the world that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. Children need the hope found only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. SHOEBOXES ARE AVAILABLE. A table with shoeboxes, labels, and information about packing a shoebox is available in the Worship Center and the Community Life Center. Deadline to bring packed shoeboxes is Sunday, November 22.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday. As you have opportunity before Sunday, read the book of Philippians (only 4 chapters). We will be concluding our sermon series "Pressing On" this Sunday.

Pastor John

P.S. The Grace Church family will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of November. I’m praying you can join in this wonderful opportunity for the church family to reunite for this special time of worship. Worship will be at 9:30 am, all four options for worship will be available: CLC, Worship Center (masks required), Parking Lot (FM transmitter), and online.
